Professor Dr. Elizabeth Stuart is a Bloomberg Professor of American Health and Chair of the Department of Biostatistics at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, with joint appointments in Mental Health and Health Policy and Management. She is a leading biostatistician whose research focuses on the development and application of statistical methods to help understand the effects of public health programs and policies, especially in mental health, substance use, and policy evaluation. Throughout her career, she has valued collegiality, collaboration, and kindness, and she continues to work in an environment where she can advance rigorous evidence to improve public health.
