The Leadership, Advancement, and Development (LAD) Academy is a central hub that offers programs and resources supporting our faculty throughout their careers, from the time of hire up to the time our faculty are ready to retire. Programs are available regardless of academic rank, career stage, professional pathway or discipline.
I truly enjoyed the opportunity to participate in the Leadership Advancement Development program. L.A.D.’s workshop “Navigating Your Academic Career from a Position of Strength” revealed a whole new world of leadership skills to me. I learned to identify my natural strengths and recognize how they show up for me in practice. Importantly, I learned that productivity increases when my strengths are integrated with the diverse combination of strengths of those around me. This workshop is highly beneficial to faculty and staff of all stages who want to increase self-awareness, capitalize on natural talents, and enhance team synergy.

We enhance existing faculty development programs and introduce tailored leadership development initiatives for those in the leadership pipeline, promoting universal benefit across the academic community through expanded professional development offerings.
