The JHU CME and L.A.D. Academy co-sponsored Clifton Strengths professional program provided me with foundational insight into my own strengths and how I might leverage them in my career at Hopkins. The one-on-one coaching session was especially helpful in providing guidance about operationalizing these strengths in an organizational context. I highly recommend it to early-career faculty as they begin their professional journeys and are seeking to identify their professional value and opportunities for growth.

I truly enjoyed the opportunity to participate in the Leadership Advancement Development program. It provided the space and time to connect with colleagues from diverse departments to reflect upon how our strengths can be leveraged to enhance our effectiveness in several aspects of our professional lives, and to do so with the support of skilled coaches.

The L.A.D. program gave me key insights into my personal strengths in a way that I had never experienced before despite multiple leadership courses and seminars. I loved the focus on leaning in to our unique strengths rather than emphasizing and tackling our weaknesses as the first step. L.A.D. illuminated aspects of my leadership style that I had just taken for granted, but now see through a completely different but complementary lens and context. The facilitators are passionate and just exceptional! I truly regret not having L.A.D. in my life when I started my academic career!
