Victoria Harms, PhD
Associate Teaching Professor of History
Victoria Harms considers it a privilege to work with the highly motivated, diverse, and thoughtful students who join her courses at the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences. She finds learning alongside her students to be the most rewarding aspect of her teaching career. Their openness, curiosity, and willingness to engage in new formats—whether through field trips, museum visits, or interactive workshops—have shaped many memorable learning experiences. Her students continue to inspire her growth as an instructor, mentor, and researcher, and remain the primary reason she is proud to be part of the Johns Hopkins community.
